The structure
| Time | Block | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| 0–3 | Bow-in + mat chat | Set the theme of the day |
| 3–8 | Dynamic warm-up | Movement games, not calisthenics |
| 8–18 | Skill block | One technique, three progressions |
| 18–25 | Drill or game | Apply the skill under fun pressure |
| 25–28 | Character lesson | Tie to the theme |
| 28–30 | Bow-out + high fives | End on energy |
Tips
- One skill per class. Depth beats variety for kids under 8.
- Name the students. Use every kid's name at least twice.
- Make parents part of it. Give a "homework" challenge at bow-out.
Sample theme: Focus
Skill: front kick to target. Game: "Statue kick" – freeze on command. Character: "Focus means eyes, ears, and body all in one place."
